Chicago Pneumatics – CP7782-6 1″ Heavy Duty EXTENDED Air Impact Wrench
Chicago Pneumatic, since 1901 a quality leader in performance air tools, has announced the new CP7782 series of 1” impact wrenches for truck and heavy vehicle tire shop mechanics, including the CP7782-6, CP7782-SP6 and the CP7782 models. All three impact wrenches feature the highest reverse impact torque, 2140 ft-lbs.(2900 Nm) of any wrench in class, yet are extremely durable.
The CP7782-6 with its six-inch extension is expected to be the first choice among professionals for loosening and removing wheel lugs on trucks and heavy equipment, while the CP7782 is available for those who prefer a shorter one-inch extension. A six-inch extension spline anvil, CP7782-SP6, is also available for spline sockets’ users.
All three models boast ergonomic features such as an angled down exhaust, blowing away the air from the operator’s work place and an easily adjustable soft-touch grip side handle to enable convenient right- or left-handed use to meet individual preferences.
To increase the lifetime of the range, the series integrate a shock absorbing bumper protecting both the application and the tool. Finally, the operation is made easy by having a forward/reverse regulator integrating three power settings in both directions and the trigger features full teasing for smooth tightening.
“Durability is a hallmark of Chicago Pneumatic tools, and the new CP7782 series feature a pin less reinforced rocking dog to ensure long tool life” said Luis Clement, Vice President Chicago Pneumatic Tools. “Heavy vehicle tire changing is one of the most demanding applications for an impact wrench, so we designed and produced one of the most durable tool out there.” added Luis Clement.
